Sorry that I haven't posted in a while. I was traveling when I normally would have posted, and since I was already behind, I got lazy. This olive got a rating of 5 for salt, and a 5 for vinegariness. When eating it, the initial reaction was that it was salty, but then it was unexpectedly sweet afterward. In fact, I would give it a 9 on sweetness. It was sweet and good. I would give it a 7 for size. I would have liked it if they were a bit bigger, because the small size made you want to keep eating them without stopping. Or maybe that's just me. I would give it a quality rating of 9, it was good quality, but it had a few dents and mushy spots on a few olives. It was a firm olive, and pitted. It was an unusual green olive because of it's sweetness. In my experience, manzanilla olives are usually more salty, vinegary, and usually more bitter or sour than black or kalamata olives. I would also like to mention that this olive won an award, it was chef's choice or something like that. It's actually been a while since I ate these, so I don't remember exactly what it was. Overall, I would give these olives a score of 7, a perfectly average score. I have been thinking of adding another part to this blog, but I'm not quite sure what it should be. I would want to base it off one of my other interests. I like anime and manga, quilting, and puzzles. Or I could just put in random thoughts about life that I've been pondering lately. If you have any opinion on what it should be, please comment.
